# Works with Sidekick

> Ask Shopify Sidekick what your ShipWeaver rules mean, how they work, and what customers see at checkout.

ShipWeaver exposes rule summaries to Shopify Sidekick. You can ask what is live, what is preview-only, and why a method is missing — without opening every rule by hand. Ask what customers see. Sidekick answers from your live rules and can link to the rule that caused it.

## What to ask

From the shipping rules page, Sidekick can help with questions such as:

* What shipping options do customers see at checkout?
* Why is Free Shipping missing?
* Why don't checkout options match Settings > Shipping?
* Which rules affect Express?
* What happens for international orders?

The dashboard points Sidekick at ShipWeaver rules and Shopify shipping profiles.

## Live vs Preview

Sidekick can tell you which rules are Live and which are Preview-only. Preview never changes regular customer checkout. That distinction matters when a tester sees a different list than a customer.

Sidekick summarizing one live sort rule and seven inactive rules.

> If Sidekick and checkout disagree, check rule status and [Preview testers](https://docs.shipweaver.app/preview.md), then sync from the app.
